Award-winning opera singer, Jessica Eccleston is a young and exciting performer who has been appointed as the Resident Solo Lyric Mezzo Soprano at the Landestheater in Linz, Austria. She was awarded a choral scholarship to read Music at St Catharine's College, Cambridge where she recorded, toured and broadcasted internationally with various groups.

After studying at The Royal Northern College of Music for her Masters, where she was the holder of The Annie Ridyard Scholarship, she was then awarded an entrance scholarship to study on The Alexander Gibson Opera School at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She then went on to work with Opera Holland Park singing the role of Ancella in L'amore dei tre Re to great acclaim and was invited to be a Young Artist for the Live Music Now Scotland Scheme with her group "Aleatoric Junction". Last season she made her solo international debut singing the roles of Maddalena in Rigoletto, Hansel in Hansel und Gretel, Marguerite in La Damnation de Faust and Olga in Eugene Onegin.

Next season she will sing the lead role of Die Frau in the world premiere of Christian Diendorfer's Die Wand, Sesto in Clemenza di Tito, Second Maid in Elektra and Neris in Medee. For further information click on the link below:
